Meet Omi Gray

Omi Gray is a multifaceted teaching artist living in Harlem. The materials she uses are primarily gifts found in nature. She teaches a variety of workshops throughout the tri-state area on botanical printing, nuno felting, free-form weaving, and bead and wire crochet. Gray's Harlem design studio is within walking distance of Central Park. You can be sure to find her in "nature’s art studio," the Park, collecting leaves and weaving on her portable floor loom. A selection of Gray’s silk scarves, notecards, and prints are available for purchase at the Central Park Conservancy’s Dairy Visitor Center & Gift Shop.
