Spring Birding Basics Tour

It’s spring migration season in the Park! A key stop on the Atlantic Flyway, Central Park welcomes more than 210 bird species each year. In the springtime, birders look forward to the vivid plumage colors of many of the Park’s birds, displayed as part of their seasonal mating habits. On this hands-on tour, you will learn the basics of bird identification while you explore the Ramble, a vibrant woodland habitat that supports a variety of NYC wildlife.
